To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must be between the ages of 9 and 65, live in Australia as a citizen or on a relevant visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to take part in daily activities. Unregistered NDIS providers can deliver most supports to participants who either self-manage their funds or use a plan manager as long as the supports are included in the participant’s plan. These include personal care, transport, community access and other core and capacity-building supports.
